What you can do as a guest
Guests get a secure, read-and-update view of the referrals a firm shares — without subscribing to Ethix.
Log in to view the referrals a firm has sent you, their current status, and the agreed fee terms — all in one place.
Add a status note from your guest portal and it lands directly on the referring firm's record — no email thread required.
Each referral has a timestamped PDF certificate with its own ID. Save it for your records or share it when needed.
Guest access is free. Only the firm that invited you pays for its Ethix subscription.
How guest access works
A firm sends you a guest invite by email with a secure link to create your account.
Create a free guest account in seconds, or log back in any time to see your referrals.
Check status, post updates, and download certificates from one dashboard.
Run your own referrals the same way
If you like the visibility you get as a guest, you can subscribe to Ethix and send referrals to your own partners the same way — free for them, with no account required on their side.

Common questions
- Do I have to pay to use the guest portal?
- No. Guest access is free. The firm that invited you pays for its Ethix subscription.
- Do I need an account to see a referral update?
- Not always. A firm can still send you a live status link that works without an account. The guest portal gives you a permanent dashboard of every referral shared with you.
- What can I see in the guest portal?
- You see only the referrals a firm has shared with you: status, fee terms, certificate ID, and any updates. You do not see the firm's other matters or clients.
- Is my information secure?
- Yes. Ethix stores only client initials and identifiers, not full case files. Communication uses encrypted connections and the same security practices as the rest of the platform.
- What if I work with more than one firm using Ethix?
- One guest account can connect to multiple firms. Each firm's shared referrals appear in your dashboard, but they remain separate.
